Correct lighting technique affects affects how the image will result and will create a winning masterpiece. The most important topic in photography is the lighting technique and what is the best and correct way to use it.
Back lighting – One of the most common type of artistic photography is done through the use of back lighting. It can also be used in normal photography if one wishes to create lighting effects for human or other things as your subject. A perfect lighting technique in photography are normally used in cases when one wishes to capture a breathtaking effect of the sunset or sunrise on a location like the beach with a human as your subject. However, if you want to create a ghostly or silhouette type of photo, then it is best not to use any type filter or flash in photography. Side lighting - is also one of the most popular and common style in artistic photography. It is a way of illuminating your subject, object, and particularly the background to allow it to create a stunning effect. Many techniques are possible and by using them correctly will offer a true art and a winning masterpiece. A half dark and half lit effect like an eclipse kind of photograph will give an exciting effect to photography. Letting light to fall from the side and letting it cast a shadow on the opposite side is the best technique to use if you are going for a close up because it will enhance the features of your subject. There area number of special portraits that are taken with the use of side lighting to emphasize the left or right feature of a human subject and depth to flower vases and other things. If you are looking for a three dimensional king of photography and depict illumination, then you should try the side illumination effect of lighting technique.
Artificial lighting - In indoor cases, artificial lighting is carried out in this kind of art. You have all the freedom to use this kind of technique. Marriage photos, passport and studio pictures are normally taken with artificial lighting. For artistic photography, artificial lights should be used carefully and has to be well arranged to avoid distracting effects such as red eye, a harsh environment, and a yellow tinge.
Diffused lights – The most natural and important lighting technique in photography are with the use of diffused lights. Many photo compositions require a minimum or avoid direct light when taking the subjects photograph. In outdoor cases, however, one must choose the right time to take a photo. Sunset, sunrise or overcast days are usually the best days to cast a perfect picture. Suitable filters are recommended during hot and sunny days to avoid spots.
